In an interview with IGN, Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio’s head Toshihiro Nagoshi talked about the possiblity of Yakuza on Nintendo Switch, which he then says that he has no plans to bring any of the games to the platform right now.

Some Yakuza titles have made it to Nintendo platforms before, like Yakuza 1 & 2 HD for Wii U, but the series is generally a PlayStation series and only recently been coming to PC so it’ll be a long time before we see anything on Nintendo’s newest platform.

While on the topic of Nintendo, Nagoshi-san also mentioned that he would welcome the possiblity of Kiryu in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate but doesn’t personally believe Sakurai-san would be interested in such a collaboration. Oh well, guess we might see Kiryu in other fighters down the line then.
