Back in February it was announced that Reggie was going to end his journey at Nintendo, and enter retirement. He joined Nintendo back in 2003, and is leaving today, April 15th 2019. With the Switch, it seems his mission was accomplished. He helped bring the home console side of Nintendo back to order. His successor will be Doug Bowser, who joined Nintendo back in 2015 during the Wii U era. He was the head of sales and marketing. His guidance most definitely was a factor into the Switch’s success. Coming off the marketing disaster of the Wii U, he was vital. It seems like he is fit to hold the title “Nintendo Of America President”.
