Earlier today it was announced that the public beta for the upcoming release of Halo: The Master Chief Collection on PC has been delayed. While this is a disappointment, the public beta will arrive sooner rather than later. It won’t be coming in May, but we can expect anytime after the 31st. Halo: The Master Chief Collection launches on Windows and Steam in 2019.

The Halo MCC was originally release on November 11th, 2014 on Xbox One exclusively. The collection originally contained Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2 Anniversary, Halo 3, and Halo 4. All of the games received overhauled and updated graphics, visuals, and sounds. A video series was released with the collection a year later, called Halo: Nightfall. The series went over the story of Halo to prep fans for the upcoming release of the next installment in the franchise, Halo 5. It was announced in March of 2019 that Halo: Reach would be joining the MCC, as well as the announcement that Halo: The Master Chief Collection would be coming to Microsoft Windows and PC.
