SEGA trademarked a new Super Monkey Ball game in Japan. This is quite surprising and very welcomed given the last title was on the PlayStation Vita in 2012 (not counting the mobile game in 2014).

The franchise could make an appearance at E3, which would go alongside this trademark surfacing.

There has been no words from SEGA on the matter.
