As of today, Minecraft has officially overtaken Tetris as the most sold video game of all time. Minecraft has sold an astonishing 176,000,000 units. Tetris has moved 170,000,000 total units. Minecraft has a 6,000,000 advantage over Tetris, so it would be surprising if Tetris ever claimed the title of “best selling” again. Grand Theft Auto V is the 3rd best selling game of all time at 110,000,000, so it has a long ways to go to the most sold spot.
