Sony IR Day 2019 – Sony Interactive Entertainment announced at Sony IR Day 2019 that they want to give players the choice of disk, digital, or streaming for game formats. This is giving everyone the ultimate choice of play as some peope want instant streaming while some want a physical library, and some like a large digital collection.
Sony Interactive Entertainment also believes in Backwards Compatibility, which could mean we could see classic PS1, PS2, and PS3 games join the club for more platforms playable on PS5.
