Take-Two Interactive’s Private Divisions label is publishing Panache Digital Games’ human evolution title that takes place in Africa from over 10 million years ago all the way to 2 million years ago. The original director of the Assassin’s Creed franchise, Patrice Desilets, is the co-founder of the studio working on this title, so there is a lot of talent avaliable at hand.

You play as an humans that aren’t fully evolved as we are that has to survive in Neogene Africa who must advance in their clan to make innovations in the world. When you evolve, you will take what you learned and created with you in the next generation.

Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey will launch exclusively on the Epic Games Store for a year on PC on August 27th, 2019 while consoles will get the game in December 2019 alongside PS4 Pro and Xbox One X support/
