Playtonic Games has teased a new game, and it’s looking like it’s gonna be a sequel to the popular crowd-funded Yooka-Laylee.
In a tweet earlier today, Playtonic tweeted out a small tease of what’s to come:

What’s of note here isn’t the tweet itself, but what they said. “Bee back tomorrow” seems to signify that they’ll be reviewing a new Yooka-Laylee title, as the big bad of that game is in fact a giant bumblebee named Capital B.
Yooka-Laylee is the spiritual successor to the popular 90s platformer Banjo-Kazooie, where you play as a chameleon (Yooka) and bat (Laylee) duo as you try to take down the evil Capital B and stop him from stealing the world’s books for himself. Along the way you’ll meet many colorful and unique friends and enemies, much like the Nintendo 64 platformer it pays homage to.
We’ll see tomorrow what Playtonic has up their sleeves, but if it’s another Yooka-Laylee game, fans should be excited. Especially with the rumors of a new Banjo-Kazooie revival on the horizon!
