Sony Pictures Entertainment has announced that the Uncharted movie starting Tom Holland as Nathan Drake will release on December 18th, 2020.
The story will follow Nathan Drake as a kid, rather than him as an adult for the first movie in the franchise. In terms of a timeline, it’s before the events of Uncharted: Golden Abyss. 10 Cloverfield Lane director Dan Trachtenberg will take the role as director for the film, with Jonathan Rosenberg and Mark Walker writing the script.
PlayStation Productions, Sony Interactive Entertainment’s TV and film production studio, is behind this movie now.
