Apex Legends, the Titanfall based battle royale shooter, apparently has a content schedule for the next 3-4 years planned. This gives a hint that players may expect to see this game release on next-gen consoles next year.

The news comes from a tweet made by Patrick Shanley that flew under the radar over the course of E3. The tweet says that he spoke to Project Lead Drew McCoy and received this information while he was attending E3. This plan involves everything from balance updates, new content, and other small updates.

Regardless of whether you’re a fan of the game or not, it should be quite surprising to hear this considering the game’s revenue drop since launch was quite substantial. A welcome bit of information for fans though, as it means they can see the game evolve and change over the years.

Apex Legends is available to play for free on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
