Surgical Scalpels officially announced today Boundary is coming to North America and Europe.

This tactical shooter is multiplayer driven, guns will have insane customization to help you take over space with little to no issue. In a sense, this is a MOBA in a small way, with its 5v5 combat, it resembles that genre in a sense.

There will be multiple game modes too, so there’s plenty to do;

  • Deathmatch
  • Free for All
  • Facility Capture
  • Orbital Purge

It was confirmed in the latest Press Release that the game is no longer coming to PS VR, the team decided to focus solely on the PS4 right now with no other distractions until the game is finished.

We couldn’t be more excited to announce that Boundary will be coming to console for North America and Europe later this year. The support from the China Hero Project has enabled us to bring a new and exciting tactical shooter to a global audience of FPS and sci-fi fans.

Play Boundary at Gamescom 2019 this year in Germany. Also, a PC and Xbox One release is very possible, the studio hints at.

Originally announced at ChinaJoy 2016, Sony Interactive Entertainment then picked it up under it’s wing to become a China Hero Project title. China Hero Project helps develop, fund, and publish games to the world so they won’t be restricted to just China. There are currently 14 games that are in development or have already released using this program, including Animal Force. Lost Soul Aside and Convallaria are notable upcoming games in this program.

We interviewed Surgical Scalpels back in March about this game.

  1. Sucks for the VR cancellation. Though if it’s to polish the final product, then I’m okay with their choice.
