Mojang, one of Microsoft’s many developers in the Xbox Game Studios has released a new patch for the Bedrock Edition, which brings a slew of new changes including “Cached resource packs no longer decrease performance on Nintendo Switch” and “Removed an unnecessary Xbox Live sign-in notification”, making the quality of life so much better.

The full changelog is gargantuan, so I’m not gonna go into much detail about it but you can see the full list of changes here.

The ESRB has also rated the Bedrock Edition of Minecraft for PS4, so expect a release soon. Minecraft also recently overtook Tetris as the best selling game of all time, which is a stupendous achievement. A classic version of the game that can be played in a web browser is available now, with Minecraft Earth, an AR phone app like Pokémon Go will come later this year. Finally, Minecraft Dungeons will invade various platforms early next year.
