2019 is certainly becoming The Year of The Kart, with Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled launching recently, on the heels of Team Sonic Racing.

VR gamers will also get to join in on the fun this year, thanks to Ivanovich Games, the studio responsible for VR titles Operation Warcade VR and Final Soccer VR.

Launching with support for PSVR, Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and Windows Mixed Reality, Touring Karts VR is expected to launch in Q4 of 2019. Don’t worry if you haven’t bought into VR just yet though – there’s a non-VR edition on the way, and a mobile game planned too!

Both the VR and non-VR version promise 22 tracks, and 30 “Formula 1” styled vehicles. Beside the typical single player/multiplayer modes that we’ve come to expect with kart racers, but Touring Karts VR is bringing gamers together promising cross-platform multiplayer.

Just like the kart games we know and love, Touring Karts also comes with it’s own take on crazy power-ups. 45 to be exact, which can be combined in unique and interesting ways.
