It seems that people who are heading to San Diego Comic Con got a bit of a treat. On a flight from Dallas to San Diego passengers where informed that everyone on the flight would be receiving a Nintendo Switch along with a copy of Super Mario Maker 2, Twitter user @LaurMoor posted before the flight noticed that the agent who checks everyone in was wearing Mario’s yellow builder hat from the game.

When everyone boarded the plane they were told that Southwest and Nintendo would be providing everyone on board with a Nintendo Switch with Mario Maker 2 for free. The picture taken by @NMFreed below shows that passengers were given a voucher to redeem at the gate once they land in San Diego.

This promotion also seems to have been recorded because @NMFreed stated that he saw cameras so we can asume that a video will go up soon, this promotion has generated good press for both Southwest and Nintendo and just in time for San Diego Comic Con.

The Nintendo Switch and Super Mario Maker 2 are both currently available for purchase with a Switch Lite coming later this year.
