Social VR app Bigscreen has confirmed plans to launch on PSVR in late 2019 or early 2020. This means Bigscreen with be the first social VR app to support every major headset.

Bigscreen lets users join virtual rooms together and use their desktop (if on PC) on a virtual monitor floating in front of them. This makes is so someone can project their screen and everyone can watch movies, play games, or just go on the internet together. You also don’t need a desktop to share something as the company announced Bigscreen TV earlier this week, which streams video content into officially hosted public rooms. There are also plans to host VR movie nights and offer 3D movie rentals, available to all users.

When Bigscreen comes to PSVR, you and your friends will be able to hang out in virtual rooms no matter what headset you have. It’s clear Bigscreen has big plans for the future, but we’ll have to wait and see how they turn out.
