Infinity Ward revealed the multiplayer for Call of Duty today. The multiplayer modes they confirmed were 2v2 gunfight, 6v6 standard, a 10v10 mode, and a 20v20 mode. They also reaffirmed kill streaks are back and nukes are returning. There will also be no mini map during multiplayer. The Gunsmith was also confirmed the weapon customization system that promises to be the most in-depth yet. Pick 10 is gone but a new ground war mode is here and it supports over 100 players. There has been no confirmation if ground war is a battle royale mode. They also announced that pre-ordering the game will get you early access to the open beta. Early access begins September 12th, and PS4 gets it first. Watch the trailer below to see it in action

Among other things announced, Infinity Ward reaffirmed that there will be no season pass and that post launch there will be free maps for everyone. Auto health regeneration was confirmed along with two factions as well. Other modes also announced were Cyber Attack, Sabotage, Search and Destroy, and Search and Rescue. Today was a big day for Call of Duty and it seems there’s still more to see.
