The Australian video game ratings board has finally gave a rating to MediEvil, a remake of the classic PlayStation title from the defunct developer Guerrilla Cambridge that launches on October 25th, 2019. The Other Ocean Emeryville developed remake has been rated M in Australia, which is up from the G rating of the original game as well as the PSP remake MediEvil: Resurrection. So it seems the move to more powerful hardware makes the game more mature. The PS4 can actually display gore and blood, something that was hard to pick out on hardware from yesteryear.
