Get ready to fly into the great unknown on the Nintendo Switch? Sean Murray was asked about if they plan on porting No Man’s Sky to the Switch here’s the response.
The next expansion for No Man’s Sky is coming next week with Beyond releasing on August 14th and with that Sean Murray the founder of Hello Games has been making the rounds with interviews. When asked about the possibility of porting their game to the Nintendo Switch Murray had this to say.
“It’s super interesting, I love the Switch. We’re obviously very focused on what we’re doing right now, but we have done a lot of work for PSVR to optimize the game. So I’d be interested to see what’s possible. But at the moment, we’re just very focused on what we’re doing right now.”
While he doesn’t entirely say a port to the Nintendo Switch is out of the question he does say that he’d like to see what’s possible and considering games like DOOM: Eternal and the more recently announced The Outer Worlds coming to the hybrid console it’s safe to say that the Nintendo Switch has a good future ahead of it with 3rd party support.
