Nintendo revealed today that two new NES games would be added to the Nintendo Switch Online membership on 21st August. The two games in question are the mighty Kung-Fu Heroes and the outstanding Vice: Project Doom. If it didn’t feel like Nintendo were scraping the bottom of the barrel for these games it should now.

Vice: Project Doom is like an 80s action version of Ninja Gaiden, with shooting and driving sections baked in. Whereas Kung-Fu Heroes puts Jacky and Lee to a familiar test to save the Princess. It pits the players against a room full of enemies and the objective is to kill enough to unlock the door and move on.

It really feels like they are running out of games to add to this service. However, I’m still holding onto the dream that SNES games will be added soon. Next month happens to be the 1st anniversary of the service so maybe, just maybe they’ll treat us to that, right? RIGHT?
