Bioware has lost its second lead producer within the week. Fernando Melo, lead producer on Bioware’s next Dragon Age game has announced via Twitter today that he has left the company after 12 years.

Melo worked as a senior producer on both Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age 2. He became director of online development in 2011. In 2015 he left the role to work on Mass Effect Andromeda, to work on the online portion of the game. He was then appointed lead producer on the next Dragon Age game before leaving the company altogether.

It’s unknown what’s next for Melo. He remains adamant on Twitter that it was his decision to leave and teases that there is something coming on the horizon.
