Pokémon Go has currently begun a Jirachi event where players can do missions to try to obtain the Mythical Pokémon but in a recent tweet they also confirm that more Pokémon are coming to the game. Pokémon from generation 5 which are from the Unova region, it’s currently unknown how many Pokémon are going to be joining at the moment.

When Generation 4 was released only a few Pokémon were available, the only two Pokémon confirmed to be apart of the update is the Patrat and Lillipup evolution line which will have a chance of being shiny. The Pokémon from the Unova region are going to join the world of Pokémon Go on September 16th, at the same time a raid for a Mewtwo that knows Psystrike will start at the same time with a chance of a shiny Mewtwo also available.

The Pokémon Go update for Generation 5 will be available on September 16th and is currently available on iOS and Android.
