The world of Pokémon Go has expanded even more to add Pokémon from the Unova region. An official post from Pokémon’s social media accounts confirms that Pokémon from generation 5 are now available in Pokémon Go. The Pokémon that have been added range from available in the wild or in eggs can be seen below.

  • Snivy (Wild/Egg)
  • Tepig (Wild/Egg)
  • Oshawott (Wild/Egg)
  • Patrat (Wild/Egg)
  • Lillipup (Wild/Egg)
  • Purrloin (Wild/Egg)
  • Pidove (Wild/Egg)
  • Blitzle (Wild/Egg)
  • Drilbur (Egg)
  • Foongus (Egg)
  • Ferroseed (Egg)
  • Klink (Egg)
  • Litwick (Egg)
  • Golett (Egg)
  • Deino (Egg)

There are a few more Pokémon that are regional exclusive meaning it depends on where in the world you are if you can find these Pokémon.

  • Pansage (Asia-Pacific)
  • Pansear (Europe, Middle East, Africa and India)
  • Panpour (Americas and Greenland)
  • Heatmor (Western Hemisphere)
  • Durant (Eastern Hemisphere)

There will be more Pokémon from the Unova region joining Pokémon go later in the future but for now these are the ones available. Legendary Pokémon from Unova such as Reshiram and Zekrom are most likely going to be raid bosses sometime soon but it will be interesting what they will do once Kyruem joins and how Niantic handles fusions.

Pokémon Go is currently available to download on iOS and Android.
