The previously reported update to Code Vein’s free demo now has a release date of September 20, 2019. This update arrives a full week in advance of the game’s official release date, allowing potential players to try out new features before purchase.

The demo update will include the high difficulty Town of Sacrifice stage, and multiplayer mode as new offerings. Most importantly, the demo will include the option to carry over your customized character to the full game. With the amount of customization on offer, this could save a bit of time, and allow people to carry over a well thought out character from their demo version.

Alternately, they could carry over a Ronald MacDonald themed character, but I’ll try not to judge.

Code Vein is set to release on September 27, 2019 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, with the demo already available for download.
