Red Dead Redemption 2 will soon make its way to PC on November 5th but it turns out that the game isn’t going to be able to achieve the maximum settings possible due not being optimized properly. According to a recent by PCGamesN they mention is that there’s currently no way to run RDR2 at 4K and 60fps on max settings, it turns out that Nvidia had to mix around Medium and High settings to achieve 4K and 60fps at one of their most recent events.
At 3840×2160, only the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti can deliver a high-fidelity 60 FPS experience, giving gamers a stunning level of cinematic detail in Red Dead Redemption 2’s wilderness, and in Saint Denis, the game’s vibrant city. To hit this mark, we tuned settings to a mix of Medium and High, as used at a recent PC version press event.”
While you can run the game at 4K on medium and high settings and customize the look of the game with the many visual and performance options it looks like there’s no way to play the game with the maximum settings allowed.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One with the PC release on November 5th.
