The remake of the classic PlayStation 1 kart racer will be releasing its November Grand Prix mode content with a circus-inspired theme. Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled’s fourth wave of free DLC will be available between November 8 to December 8. Developer Beenox will also be introducing a new game mode and new secrets to shake up the Grand Prix mode formula.
The game will be getting a brand new track called “Koala Carnival”, new racers, three new karts and a bunch of new premium skins, paint kits, kart decals and stickers all purchasable with in-game currency in the game’s Pit Stop. The Nitro Meter will also have another 18 items to grab hold of including newcomer Koala Kong from the Crash N. Sane Trilogy. The roadmap below outlines most of the in-game content coming this November.
The newest game mode “Ring Rally” is a survival style race where you collect rings and finish the lap before time runs out. Each lap you complete produces fewer rings to squeeze players out of the race till the last racer is standing.
With the addition of Koala Kong into the roster, all of the major characters from the Naughty Dog era of Crash Bandicoot games have been added to the game. Plus the addition of Pasadena O’Possum and Ebenezer Von Clutch completes the roster of playable racers taken from Crash Tag Team Racing, which lends a plethora of content to this game.
The Grand Prix starts this Friday but check out the official trailer in the meantime.
