Persona 5: Royal has been available in Japan since October 31st and 3 new trailers have dropped online which details the next DLC that will release on November 14th. The two challenge battles will pit the Phantom Thieves against the main protagonists of Persona 3 and 4. The battle against the protagonist of Persona 3 has the battle theme set to be “Mass Destruction” with his Persona being Orpheus.
The other challenge battle is against the protagonist of Persona 4 who is the leader of the Investigation Team, the battle theme is set to “Reach Out To The Truth” with his Persona being Izanagi.
That won’t be the only DLC dropping on November 14th because a new character costume pack for the Phantom Theives, the outfits worn in Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth when Joker equips this outfit and enters a battle the music changes into “Invitation To Freedom” it’s also been confirmed that Kasumi will have a Persona Q2 styles outfit included in this costume pack.
The challenge battles will cost 300 Yen each while the Persona Q2 costume pack will cost 800 Yen. At the moment it’s not know how many more DLC will be available down the line but it seems it won’t be stopping any time soon.
Persona 5: Royal is available now exclusively on PlayStation 4 in Japan and releases in the West sometime in March 2020.
