PC players rejoice! If you have been holding out on playing Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption 2 for the release of a Steam version, well it’s time to saddle up. Red Dead Redemption 2 will be available on Steam on December 5th.

The news came via the official Rockstar Twitter account this morning.

The news will certainly excite fans of the game eager to add the wild west adventure to their Steam library. While the game is already available to purchase on PC since November 5th, fans who waited can rest assured the game is in a better state than it was released in.

The game launched on PC with a host of graphical glitches, bugs and technical mishaps that have been getting patched over the course of the last month. Mod support has started to increase as well making this version of the game definitely the best and players jumping into the Wild West will have a smoother more robust experience when it becomes available.
