Media Molecule’s project Dreams was first revealed back in 2013 and it’s been a long development for the game. Even when it was revealed that the game will be releasing on February 14, 2020, there was still an heir of skepticism that Dreams still might need a little more time in development. Well, now the wait is officially over as the long-awaited title has officially gone gold.
The news comes straight from the Media Molecule team themselves in the form of a tweet on their official Twitter account. The team looks like they are ready to celebrate, thank everyone for their love and support and let us know that the adventure is just getting started.
Dreams has become a full creation suite that is a lot more robust than we were all expecting. We had seen some creative and crazy levels done in the LittleBigPlanet games, but Dreams looks like it’s going to give you all the tools you need to make full-on games. We have already seen so many amazing levels and games being created by people who have been invited into the beta and when we jump into the game on February 14, there will already be a ton of content to enjoy. It already looks like all the time and effort put into the development of this robust creation suite is going to pay off. Dreams is like nothing else we have seen on the market.
Are you excited for Dreams after all these years? Are you going to jump into creating your own masterpieces or enjoy other people’s work first? Let us know on our socials or in the comment section down below.
