Update: Media Molecule’s Dreams is apparently also coming, according to Digital Foundry’s Tom Phillips.
Horizon will be followed by others down the road – you don't need to Dream too hard to guess. But Xbox is already well-established launching games on PC at the same time, and eager to explore Switch…— Tom Phillips (@tomphillipsEG) January 16, 2020
Original story: Once Jason Schreier says it, it’s essentially becomes true to the point where we won’t even do a “report” as he’s never been wrong from his sources. According to him, Horizon: Zero Dawn is coming to PC.
Guerrilla’s first new IP since 2005 was released in 2017 exclusively on PS4, Horizon: Zero Dawn. It’s engine, DECIME will appear in Death Stranding on PC this summer. This could signal a PC release of Until Dawn as well.
Sony isn’t a stranger to PC anymore, their IPs from thatgamecompany Flow, Flower, and Journey as well as their IP from Quantic Dream Beyond Two Souls and Detroit: Become Human, all came to PC. MLB: The Show 21 will arrive on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch, plus Guns Up!, another San Diego Studio title came to PC. Media Molecule wants to even bring Dreams to your computer, but they need Sony’s ok.
He also says that more titles from Sony are likely to come, which job listings have already confirmed that. This isn’t to say all games will be day 1 with PS5 and PC, but years later they might come down the road.
