The upcoming roadmap for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne has been revealed all the way up to June of this year. The current plans in the roadmap are only for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game with the first event coming later this month. Starting on January 24th there will be a Astera/Seliana Fest will includes a new layered armor, in May is when they tease that a fan favorite monster from the previous games. Going from June onward they don’t exactly state what’s next but do maintain that new monsters and updates will be coming in that half of 2020. The main reason for PC not being in the roadmap is due to that version of the game still being a bit behind in updates but Capcom has revealed previously they are planning to fast track updates. While roadmaps can be good to show fans what the people making the game are planning it’s also important to remember that roadmaps are not concrete and can change at any moment or just not happen but with the success of Monster Hunter World and the new Iceborne expansion that shouldn’t really be a problem.
Monster Hunter World is available now on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
