According to VGC, Maxime Beland is set to rejoin Ubisoft after 8 months at Epic Games. He will join Ubisoft to become a part of Ubisoft’s restructured Editorial Team. Which will make Ubisoft’s releases more diverse.
Beland spent more than 20 years at Ubisoft, working on games such as Rainbow Six: Vegas, Assassin’s Creed (the first one) and two Splinter Cell games with Conviction and Blacklist.
Unfortunately, he won’t be in charge of a Splinter Cell project which is a shame but he will watch over a plethora of projects to make sure they are going smoothly. This is part of a restructuring process to answer disappointing sales of games such as The Division 2 and Ghost Recon: Breakpoint. This forced Ubisoft into a decision to delay some games, Watchdogs Legion and Gods & Monster, you assume to give them more polish.
