For the first time ever, Geoff Keighley, well known for his appearances in many gaming events such as the E3 Colosseum and hosting the The Game Awards, will not be attending this year’s Electronic Gaming Expo.
He made this announcement via the tweet below:

This is yet another big figure that has decided to pull out of E3. Others include Electronic Arts and even Sony Interactive Entertainment. This really makes one wonder what the future for E3 is, considering so many big names are leaving it in favor of their own events such as EA Play, Sony’s State of Play and Nintendo Direct.
